Nestled in the hills of Manali is a cozy little resort - The Home. The cottage is designed in a quirky way and offers all the comforts for a fun vacation. The charming cottages are split in two separate pads, one with the beautiful view of the lush green valley and mountains, and the other with the view of the picturesque garden on the property grounds.

The property is located on Naggar Road on the foothills of Manali comes with basic furniture and all the amenities necessary to host a group of 18 guests. The cottage walls are made of random blocks of wood stacked on top of one another instead of normal cemented walls. The cottages have wooden flooring and elevated roofing and the architecture resembles most mountain houses in the area. The picturesque scenery of Himalayan mountains in Manali and the comfort of ‘The Home’ is a great way to spend your vacation.

The cottages are well-maintained, clean, and spacious. The decor is very subtle and gives a homely feel. The scenery outside is beautiful and one should definitely take a walk through the winding roads around the resort. The refreshing weather and the postcard perfect mountains would be pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The cottage is 73 km from Kasol and 38 km from Kullu, which are popular tourist destinations. Kullu Manali Airport is just 47 km away while Chandigarh Airport is 313 km away. The nearest railway station is the Joginder Nagar Railway Station which is 161 km away. Baijnath Mandir Railway Station is 182 km away from The Home.

The Home has a total of 4 cottages which can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests. The rooms are abundantly furnished with wooden furniture. Each cottage in the resort comes with a separate kitchen that is equipped with all the basic culinary necessities and amenities including a toaster, a stove etc. The rooms come with a spectacular view, either of the garden or the majestic mountains.

The resort offers prompt and efficient room service, power backup, fire safety precautions, housekeeping service, and in-house laundry service for all the guests. A complimentary breakfast is served every morning. Delicious North Indian dinner and lunch are also served at the resort on request. For those who want to dine out, Mall Road is just a few km away and one can find many cafes and eateries here

To experience the laid-back vibe of Manali, take a stroll on the winding roads of this hill station. The peaceful ambience of the Tibetan Monasteries in the area is great venue for some mental relaxation. There are many popular places pilgrimage such as the Hadimba Devi Temple. The places surrounding Manali have a lot to offer and you can explore the many tourist attractions around the area.

The resort comes alive with a campfire and barbeque in the evening. In case the guests want any additional activities arranged for them at the resort, they can request the hosts and it can be arranged but with additional charges.

• It is advisable to carry warm clothes and accessories as the weather can get very chilly in Manali
