The best way to get to this property is via road. The closest bus terminal is about 24 km away in Meenangadi. If you’re planning on travelling by other modes of transport, the closest railway station and airport are located in Kozhikode, namely the Calicut Railway Station about 106 km away and the Calicut International Airport about 116 km away. Ghat Village offers two kinds of accommodation, you can either choose to stay in cottages or take the offbeat route and stay tents. Whatever your choice a complimentary breakfast will be served. The tents are spacious and are propped up on wooden platforms, making them a hybrid of a tent and a treehouse. They have two cosy beds and a common bathroom. If you prefer a more comfortable stay, choose the cottages that offer more modern amenities and an attached bathroom.

The offbeat stay is looked after by two caretakers, who tend to every need of the guests. You can ask the caretakers to cook some local delicacies for you while you stay here or even ask them to procure a specific dish in a close by town and they’ll be happy to arrange for it to be brought to you. The amenities provided at the premises include free WiFi connection, round-the-clock power backup, room service, housekeeping, and a dining area. The property also a boasts a recreation area where you can enjoy various indoor and outdoor activities.

Activities On Site

This unique property is located quite close to farms and if you’re up for it, the locals will arrange village walks and nature walks around the premises. This will give you a better understanding of the villagers live and work in the midst of nature. You can also give activities like fishing, cycling around the village a chance.
